In today's email i briefly discuss why I focus on the trainers of horses, and you also get the chance to watch a video tour of my members' club. You lucky folk! :)

But first...
Why do I focus on the trainers?
To an extent I think the trainer is more important than the horse but, in any case, a focus on trainers/their behaviour/their stats has transformed my betting.
Like all of us, trainers are creatures of habit, and it’s our job to identify what those habits are. I enjoy digging into angles and unearthing those gems. I especially enjoy looking at the race tracks trainers target.
As you’ve seen with my Trainer Track Profiles: Jumps 2018/19 report (here>>>) I use a unique profile when researching those stats. For those of you interested in how I do such research in HorseRaceBase, I’ll record a ‘quick’ video looking inside at some point. :)
Does it work / The proof?
This approach works and provides a superb foundation to finding successful strategies or to use as ‘starting points’ when finding your own bets. (they can be the most satisfying)
Take the strategy discussed in the report above… simply looking at the stats qualifiers that WON on one of their last two starts.
You could just focus on the stats qualifiers in the report above that WON on their last start...
Yesterday I updated all strategy results to the end of October and the jumps qualifiers that WON on their last start… in 2018
139 bets / 42 wins / 56 wins|places / +49.25 points (1 point win) (+£246.25 to £5 win bets)
That’s arguably a small sample but the logic is sound. Samples often will be small with trainer stats etc, and that's why ensuring there is sound logic is so important.
Here we have a horse in form, having won on their last start. They'll clearly be trying to win again next time.
And we have a trainer taking them to a track where they’ve done well, having qualified against my TTP report above. Why wouldn’t you take a LTO winner to a track you’ve done well at, that you know will suit your horse? Of course sometimes it can be the same track as for that win.
Those results are solid and logically should tick along during the winter months, but time will tell!
And of course you could use those ‘qualifiers’ as a starting point, making your own judgement on the horse and whether you think they’re likely to follow up again.
That’s just one idea of course.
2018 has been a great year for my trainer stats and the strategies I’ve devised for them.
The 'where to begin' strategies have totalled +403 points profit this year, to 1 point win bets.
Or, +£2015 to £5 bets, +£4030 to £10 bets.
That’s not too bad.

Now, while I wouldn’t describe myself as a ‘tipster’ service, far from it, I do tip etc, as well as all the trainer stats/strategies etc above.
There’s been well over +1000 points profit sat in my members’ club in 2018 to date.
Not a bad haul to £5 bets, £5000+
I’d love you to have a slice of that in the months ahead.
