Good Morning, Friend
Thursday's Stats Starting Points
As always I hope you're having a great week. There's a couple of trends handicap races on Saturday, The Portland Handicap from Doncaster the main focus, and I'll be cracking on with those this afternoon.
Below you can find some 'stats starting points' for today, posted in the Free Telegram Group last night. (join in the fun HERE >>>) 513 of you are now in this group, always plenty to ponder from those who post.
These angles are doing their job in terms of highlighting winners, a few losers and placed horses of course also. Yesterday a 7/2>9/4 winner for Sean Woods/Muscutt, an easy 7/2 winner for Hollinshead angle, 13/8 for HDB, and 4s>17/2 for Bowen angle. Having time to dive in deeper/landing on the right ones/judging value etc is the trickier bit of course! But half the fun.
With any luck the below may help you, adding some focus, a 'way in', and saving time...

*
Sir Michael Stoute / Ryan Moore, 3/5, 4p + 10 in last 14 days, 4/7,5p last 30 (Fox Legacy, 4.10 Donny). Hopefully not missed the boat, obv with news of SMS imminent retirement, think most jockeys, but esp Ryan, will be trying that bit harder, esp given respect/admiration latter has for former and role played in early career. Team may well have known for a while, horses will be tuned to minute, maybe. Market will adjust no doubt.

I think that's enough for Thursday. As always, all the usual caveats, NOT tips, starting points/ways in for further pondering. Two of you could look at same horse/race and come to very different conclusions, inc on price/how to play. The great game. Good luck.
Thanks for reading,
All the best,
