Now, I went to watch Life On The Road last night- Ricky Gervais’ new film. I like him but I know he is a bit like marmite.
The film follows 'David Brent' (from The Office) as he tries to forge a career as a rock star. It is funny and touching in places but what stood out is that he is a trier. He just couldn’t live with not ever knowing if he could be something more than he was, if he could become a rock star. (he didn’t, he failed. But he tried,that is the main point)
