Subject: The Future + Ascot Trends/Stats/Trainers

Hello Friend

The future...

It feels like transfer deadline day in Racing To Profit headquarters, as i've just made a major signing that with any luck will add to our experience and profitability this winter jumps season. Thankfully Ed Woodward wasn't doing the negotiating.

More news on who that is and my winter plan in a couple of weeks (although some musings in today's blog post here) - but in essence it's taken me a couple of years to realise that the future of the blog/my business is best served by recruiting a jumps expert to provide daily tipping content/analysis, and the odd other feature.

In trying to be a jack of all trades and provide the content I want, i'm arguably becoming a master of very little. Which, isn't that sustainable. In life it's best realising where your weaknesses are and getting better qualified people to fill the void. And it means I can focus more on other engaging content, that informs, entertains and adds to our overall jumps racing experience, helping you find your own winners along the way.

I'm excited about the next 6/7 months, probably for the first time in a while. Whether anyone else gets as excited, time will tell! On paper it will be the best jumps members club around. Now to bring it to life.

Anyway, that's for another day.

What do I have for you today?

Well there's some stats/trends pointers for The Ascot Challenge Cup below, THE feature handicap of the weekend. While my eyes are turning towards the Jumps, there's still the odd bit of interest left on the flat.

My 'Jumps' Monthly Trainers are starting to kick into gear, qualifiers posted on the blog... Twister had a welcome winner yesterday to suggest the yard are not in awful form, as feared... a couple today below, both making seasonal returns, so we shall see... these two angles have worked systematically for the last few seasons but in any case, a useful 'way in'

Monthly Trainers (Jumps)

I'm busy researching a few new jumps trainer angles for the winter season, so there's some daily qualifiers to muse over. I've got about 9 trainer angles so far and there's a couple of qualifiers today - i've no doubt cursed them, and they both return after a break, but...

2.20 Warw – Court Master 5/2

5.35 FL – Noctre Volatus 11/2
