Subject: Really Super Returns: My Thoughts

Hello Friend

I hope you enjoyed the return of UK racing.

You can read today's Free Daily Members' post HERE>>>

Don't worry, I won't be emailing out every day - you know where to find them, and you can bookmark the homepage, which is HERE>>>

The RTP family were on fine form yesterday also, 35 comments or so, winners flying in everywhere (25s, 10s, 7s, 11/4, 11/2)  and some good humoured chat to go with it.

In today's post there's 4 more qualifiers against my Newcastle Sires report - they had one 11/2 winner yesterday, from four runners. Hopefully they work as a systematic portfolio in time, but if they can just throw up winners, that would be a decent starting point. Something to build on, and we shall see if any of today's do the business.

Really Super

Elsewhere, the apple of my racing eye, 'Super' returns for the gang and I in the 5.05 at Kempton. I've recorded a short video preview, with some notes also.

I've no idea why she's drifting to 12/1 - she is worth a small EW bet I think, 4 places with most bookies. She's fit enough to go well... the surface is an unknown (breeding suggests she may enjoy it) and the trip is the biggest concern- it is on the short side for her, but just a case if she can hold a prominent position and kick on. Or she may not have the pace to do so. I think she's well handicapped on the flat, and while it looks open enough on paper (London Eye interesting, as is Singing The Blues - being backed, as is Ned Pepper - a 'hot form' horse to follow, Secratario has form to compete, and Mick Appleby's is in the 'unknown' category etc) it is winnable, to my biased eyes anyway! Hopefully a few need the run more than she does.

She could win, she could get outpaced and stay on into a place, she should hate the surface/it all happens too quickly, mid division. But 12s is now a tad insulting, having been put in at 11/2 which was 'ok' if not maybe a tad short. As always, she's there to do her best. Obviously I'm nowhere near as bullish as for her Worcester hurdles wins, and her Kempton chase win was a mild surprise, as she had some questions to answer there.

Anyway, fingers crossed, and it should be another fun season ahead with her. Hopefully she'll add to her four wins for us, most likely back hurdling/chasing next month. Although i'm convinced she'd do well in the odd staying flat hncp, 2m+

I'll email out again later in the week, but as always there will be plenty on the blog to flick through if you so wish and i'll be adding some other posts in next few days - a look at the Geegeez Query tool/my trainer profiles research, a 'Tracker Tuesday' post I think.

All the best
