A busy day of action ahead, whether you're a jumps fan, flat fan, or like it all! (or maybe your day is all about this evening's all-weather from Chelmsford?!) 

At the bottom of this email you can find my 'ITV Trainer Pointers' which I pull together every week for members - it's rather straightforward, but useful - in race time order you can find a list of horses representing trainers' who've previously won said race (usually the last 12/13 renewals where they exist)

The logic - the trainer knows the type of horse required to win said race, they may be keen to win it again, and the horse ‘may’ have been aimed at it. 

For those of you who enjoy trying to solve the puzzle yourselves, it's useful info to have onside and creates a ready made 'shortlist' to first look through. 

You can also find some 'ratings pointers' which I add next to most of my trainer stats qualifiers. I use HorseRaceBase ratings and Geegeez Speed ratings, just to add more info into the mix. So H1 is HRB Top Rated, G3 Geegeez Speed third rated and so on. (H1-H4, G1-G4) Again, useful for shortlisting and it gives some context as to the ability of the horse in the context of today's opposition - whether they handle conditions/well handicapped etc, is another matter etc. But on what they've achieved, those ratings can be useful guide... 

There's often a winner or three buried somewhere on these lists, just a case of landing on the right ones of course! Easy :) Ahem.

Before I go I should mention Snowy one more time, only as he banged in a 10/1 winner and a 22/1 place yesterday from three picks. 

Clearly I got my 'take this trial' timing spot on this time, which isn't always the case!

Some 2 days...if you'd bet £2.50 per point, you'd already be +£133 better off! 

If Calsberg did tipster trials! Of course, there will be losing days ahead, and spells, but it couldn't have gone much better.

He really is very good and it looks like a cracking winter ahead, and then into Summer Jumping, which he doesn't do too badly at either.
