Not much luck in the Galway Plate with two solid placed efforts. I thought Borice was short enough on morning odds given the questions he had but he was well on top come the line and is worth following through the winter months given Elliot thinks he'll be even better on softer and over further. That was Elliot's 3rd win in the Plate in the last 4 years. I won't be so dismissive of his runners next year. I'm not sure if the loose horse cost Black Corton but it would have been interesting if he'd got the rail as intended. The right horses filled the places and it was solid form. On we go...
