New 1% shares for as little as £1 per day...

Hmm well yesterday's two pokes didn't do overly well, for Cheese The One grabbed 4th which some bookies paid out on. She was an example of how important the start can be, as well as pace. She got squeezed out early and shuffled back, which was frustrating, and then was poorly positioned, in a race that Saffie somewhat dictated. She motored once free but had too much to do, closing like an in-form filly who may still have a bit in hand. With any luck she holds her form, as when it all falls right again, she'll be winning. Hopefully!

Lord Protector travelled with ease but then found sod all once asked. He was backed into favouritism. I can't think that was down to the ground, maybe he's just out of form now, but if he gets back to the level of his last Sandown win, he'll be going in again, but maybe that will be next season now. We shall see.

Onto day and an exciting development in RTP Syndicate towers, where we've done our best to make our Syndicates as accessible possible, both with cost, and indeed location with a jumps horse now up north...

They'll both race wherever is suitable, from Haydock, Aintree and Wetherby, to Warwick, Ascot, Kempton, Sandown and Newbury and so on. They're still horses we can dream about and we don't know how good they could be, which is also the case with...

Or, Blazing Soldier... our newest jumps horse, who's based in Yorkshire, firstly with Justin Landy with the aim to win a UK Point to Point in November, before moving to the excellent Mark Walford, who of those to have trained 300+ chase runners, has the best win strike rate, 17%, of any trainer in Yorkshire or the North.

He's a well built Chestnut who will relish chasing in time, a proper horse we can get to know and follow his journey every step of the way. Having horses to dream about is great fun, where it's some time before we know just how good they could be. If he's anything like his half-brother Evander (130+), we'll be having lots of fun.

But, why us?

One of the main problems we hear with some syndicates, leading to a bad experience, is the lack of trust, transparency and lack of communication.

Taking that plunge and buying shares is a big step, especially if a newbie and even at 1%. I took a few weeks to decide when I was first approached to get involved in a syndicate, before starting my own, but I was pleased I took action and dived in.

It's the best thing I've ever done, meeting some great people along the way who are now lifelong friends and opening doors I didn't think existed. As well as the adrenaline rush of cheering home a winner, which can't be beaten. It just has to be experienced.

We'd like to think our growing bunch of owners across our string (now 85+) would vouch for us, but in this game, it's actions that count.

You certainly won't lack for communication... with our dedicated broadcast WhatsApp groups per horse that we use to send updates, photos and videos in real time. Or our weekly update emails we send on Monday's, to keep you informed on your horses and other Syndicate news. I preview each race when we have a runner and follow up with a review. And we're always open to chat on the phone, text or over email.

Trust and transparency is important, and that's why you get an 'Agreement' to flick through, with all forecasts costs, before you sign up. At the end of each year, we also send a full financial report so you can see where every penny has been spent, if you're do a rebate in line with your %, and how much prize money is owed you.

All questions are welcome and everything we do is open.

Most of our horses are just initial 1 year commitments, you're not tied in and if we do carry on into Year 2, you get first refusal on whether to continue.

Our job is to take all the stress away and make your experience as enjoyable as possible, including organising your trips to the races, Owners & Trainers badges and much more besides.

The social aspect is very important to us and we go out of our way to get all owners together on race day, plus other social events including yard visits and other events - for example we've got 48 owners and friends heading to a restaurant on Becher Chase Day at Aintree on 9th December, in what promises to be a cracking weekend of fun.
