Subject: Free Content: Royal Ascot Day 2

Hello Friend

I hope you had an enjoyable Day 1 at Royal Ascot.

You can find today's Royal Ascot post, with stats quals and some brief thoughts on The Royal Hunt Cup,  HERE >>>

Do take a look and by all means post any of your own fancies or thoughts down in the comments.

My video run through of the big handicap is on that page also, and in the usual place on Youtube HERE >>>

Yesterday didn't go too badly. Well, the stats qualifiers pointed towards a 47/1 BFSP winner for Johnny G and a couple of places.

Ignoring Palace Pier (2/5) there were 12 individual horses who 'qualified', 1/12,3p +35 BFSP.

I always think they're a good 'starting point' and i'd be lying if I said I had anything on that winner, Amitiyaz, more fool me! I did receive a message from one person who had a small nibble though and it made their day, which is what it's all about and why I bother.

My own more structured musings homed in on a 16/1 3rd and 12/1> 22/1 6th in The Ascot Stakes. For a moment I thought Elysian Flame was going to storm up the rail.

Sadly I was nowhere near Reshoun, who was on the 'trainers list' for the race, Ian Williams one of three trainers represented who'd won the race previously. The Willie Mullins horse was arguably unlucky, nowhere to go for 2/3 strides and ultimately that's cost him but credit to the winner.

I also liked Arthurian Fable EW and he ran a credible 4th, with 5 places generally offer. So, I had a bit of fun and excitement for my dabbles, and no damage done.

There are 16 stats 'qualifiers' from my report in which to pick through today, hopefully the odd one wins and you may land on them if so.

I did have a look at look at The Royal Hunt Cup and fancied a 14/1 and 20/1 shot to run well, as explained on the blog. It's clearly not a race to have a strong opinion on but if I'm watching on TV I can rarely resist a small nibble in these big Ascot handicaps. If they run well, great, if they don't, it's not an amount I'll think about from my TV hobby budget.

For the puzzle solvers out there...

Just a quick note about Geegeez Gold, if you like finding your own winners, or trying to. Obviously you get access to plenty as a free registered user, which I know many of you are, but you can also get 'short term subscriptions'...

A two day pass, or a week long pass - which is perfect for these big Festivals or big racing weekends.

All the best and have a great day - from tomorrow we have the added fun of trying to predict the weather and how it may change the ground! Urgh.

GL with any bets as always,
