Ideal Cond. July-Sept; 1-11 runners; 5f and 6f; C5 or below

Form in Cond. 1,1,11,7,1,1,4,2 (1/28, 2 places outside)

Positives He has his race conditions and rarely runs a bad race when getting them. 1/,8, 2 places over CD, 1/3 under this jockey, 2/6 rated 51-60

Negatives. The going is a slight concern, somewhere between good and good to soft. 0/9, 1 place on Good to Soft, and 0/3, on soft. There could be some showers around as well.

My Verdict. 1 point win (no odds yet, possibly around 6/1) He has won up to 20/1. It may be best to see if there is lots of rain around as if the ground is soft I would be slightly concerned. However he has gone close once on Good to Soft and while not ideal it may not stop him.

3.05 Ayr Goninodaethat

Ideal Cond. Ayr, July, 6f or 7f, 1-11 runners

Form in Cond. 1,1,6,1,5 (2/39, 10 places outside)

Positives. He has his conditions and so far has won at Ayr in July for the last 3 seasons, hopefully he can make it 4 in a row. Handicap mark is fine and all race conditions are fine. A good performance from this horse is hard to predict outside of these conditions and hopefully he can go well here.

Negatives. None really. He does like a bit of juice in the ground so hopefully it doesn't dry out too much for him.

My Verdict 1 point win (market yet to form, Betfair SportsBook 6/1) He is 1/19, 4 places when bigger than 8/1 so the market is usually a decent guide. An old 'friend' Fathom Five also runs in this races but he usually drops off at this time of year and hasn't been running well at all really and is very hard to predict now.
