Form in Cond. 1,1,2,1,2,2,3,1,3,1,2,4 (0/20, 5 places outside this) 

Positives. He has his conditions and won this race last season. Even if there are a few showers around the ground is firm at the moment and he has won on Good to Soft. Any worse than this would be a concern. 

Negatives. The handicap mark (OR67 after claim) is a concern as to date OR60 is his highest winning mark. However he did win off OR60 going away by 2 lengths and ran well last time out off 2lb higher. 

My Verdict: 1/2 point EW 11/1 (BV+PP) The mark is a concern for win purposes but such has been his consistency in conditions and the fact he won this race last year means he cannot be dismissed. If the mark is a bit beyond him (which is not conclusive when getting his conditions) hopefully he places at worse. There are also a few in form progressive rivals in here.

Positives. He looks to be a good to firm ground horse which it is officially, with no rain forecast. However given the weather and the time of the race his chances would be severely compromised if there were any rain. All race conditions fine and 1/3, 3 places over CD, and 1/3, 3 places in Class 6. 2/9, 5 places under this jockey. Handicap mark is fine 

Negatives. None with race conditions or profile

My Verdict. 1 point win 5/2. All wins when 6/1 or under and this feels a bit like Hot Spice the other day who was also a good to firm horse who was well backed. Hopefully we get the same result here.
