Ideal Cond. Ayr, 6f or 7f, July, 1-11 runners Form in Cond. 1,1,6,1,5 1 (2/39, 10 places outside)
Positives. He won for us last time out and he has his conditions again. He steps up in class but has no problem with C5 and he has won from this mark. There does not appear to be loads of pace so he should be able to sit handily.
Negatives. Well to date he has failed to follow up a win with another victory and usually doesn't run that well.
My Verdict. 1 point win 4/1 (general) It is tempting to bank the profits on this horse given how inconsistent he has been in the past but I am happy to back him one last time in what looks a fairly open race. He is still handicapped to go well and maybe this will be the day when he follows up.

Ideal Cond. 6f, C6, OR60< (also great Chepstow record) Form in Cond. 3,3,1,3,9,2,1,1,10,10,1 (0/18, 7 places outside this)
Poistives. He drops down to 6f for the first time this season and it still remains the only trip he won over. (4/13, 8 places) 2/10, 5 places with this jockey and most of the race conditions look fine.
Negatives. He has ran ok on Good to Firm but is 0/9, 2 places. If there is any rain around it wont inconvenience him. OR60 is 5lb above his highest winning mark, but that is a guide. That victory was fairly comfortable by nearly 3l and he has come second twice this season of higher marks. I dont think this is beyond him.
My Verdict. 1 point win 8/1 (general) He has run 3 clunkers in conditions but other than that has been very consistent. This is an open race as you can see from the market and he has as good a chance as any.
