Positives. He has his conditions again and there were more signs of life last time when we backed him EW - with a more forceful ride I think he may have placed, but he is a tricky ride in his old age now. He is 3/9, 6 places in C5 and most race condition are fine.

Negatives. The ground is the main concern. It is officially Good to Soft, Soft in places on the sprint track. He is 0/4, 0 places on Good to Soft, and 0/4, 0 places on Soft and Heavy. Having said that, only Oscars Journey has winning form in soft and from his widest draw he could get in a battle for the lead which could set it up for RR. Having said all that, he has not raced in ideal conditions on good to soft or soft. Races have been over 6f or further and in a higher class which was beyond him.

My Verdict. 1 point win 4/1. The ground is a concern but with a few front runners in here this could set up for him. He likes the track and hasn't run in this ground in his ideal conditions. He may well not handle it but I am happy to take the chance I think.
