Form in Cond. 4,1,3,1,5,1,7,1,6,4,9 (2/39, 13 places outside) 

Positives. I have gone back through his profile and looked at the going - his profile was good to soft-soft, but he now has enough form on Good to indicate that it is the extremes of going that he may not like so much. 1-7 days still optimum 4/12, 6 places in flat handicaps against 2/38, 12 places outside. He won at 33/1 last time out which was frustrating and that may well be his winning done for a while. 

He stayed on well over 1m3f there, but is 0/2, 0 palces over 1m4f - but there isn't conclusive evidence that he wont stay this far. He is 1/8, 3 places at Haydock, and all other conditions look fine. He is 2/8, 6 places in September as well, albeit he has form at most times of year. 

Negatives. Well none really. This looks a weak enough race and he is proven in the class and it is a race for Gentleman Amateurs and the same jockey keeps the ride who won on him LTO. He is still handicapped to win, having been much higher in the past. 

My Verdict. 1 point win 12/1 (general). In what looks an open enough race I see no reason why he wont run his race again. He could well run out of stamina near the end but I am happy to take a chance at those odds.

Non Qualifiers 

-4.05 Haydock - Dark Emerald- not strongest of profiles but he does appear to prefer a straight track - 4/6 in handicaps on straight track, 0/9 3 places LH/RH. Bar that all race conditions look fine here, the trainer is in great form, and he appears to be well enough fancied in the market. He won't carry my money but a big run wouldn't be the biggest of shocks.
