Craven Meeting Stats

I hope you had a decent weekend and enjoyed Aintree. I had six days back up in Liverpool and have just about recovered.

My National stats didn't help too much, the winner quite the trends buster and it will be interesting to see if other connections now target Novices/7YOs at the race, who hadn't done overly well but then in recent years not too many had tried it. Fair play to the horse and some way to bow out from Sam Waley-Cohen. No doubt some of you reading this may have landed on him, well done if so.

One of my picks, using the trends, was Enjoy D'Allen, who came down at the first. He has a staying pot in him somewhere in the next season or two. I wonder if they may ponder bringing him over for The Eider or The Midland's National. His staying on 3rd in last year's Irish National, as well as other good efforts in decent handicaps, suggests he's worth keeping an eye on. I also had the second, on the nose of course. Urgh.

Anyway, it's onto the Flat for today's email.

Yesterday's 'qualifiers' were 1/2,2p +2 to SP. They didn't include Hannon's 9/1 maiden winner sadly as he was 1/24 in those, but has improved on that now.

Anyway, that research is in the post above and today's 'qualifiers' are listed below. A useful 'way in' if nothing else, hey may help with placepots, or fun multiples say... and Hannon's big priced qualifiers can be worth a dart as over time at this meeting he does have the odd monster fall in.
