Subject: Chasing Euros: Fancy owning a horse in France?

Hello,

Josh here from RTP. I hope you're keeping well.

Chasing Euros...

You're receiving this email as someone who's on my 'keep me informed about all things syndicates' free email list, of which you can unsubscribe with the blue link at the bottom of this email :)

Both of our RTP Syndicates are sold out and it's an exciting time, as our two unraced horses, Proud Mari and The Plumber, will be hitting the course in the next month.

Mercian Knight's super sub, Gee Eight will also be running plenty, starting this Saturday at Wolves and on the 7th April at Chelmsford. We'll be popping him over a hurdle later in the summer also. A fun horse and he'll give us plenty of opportunities to go racing.

But, I'm not here to talk about them. I've another opportunity for you. This one isn't an 'RTP Syndicate', but Amy has set up a satellite yard in France, she's some shares available in a horse who'll be running there this summer, and I said I'd help her advertise it.

Above you can find a video of the 4YO Chateau d'If , who won last time out at Lingfield and is unexposed.

The important details...

Amy has launched a new syndicate which runs from now through to the end of June. Amy and her team will be managing it, but we said we'd help her advertise and see if any of you were interested.

Amy has set up a satellite yard in France and has a temporary license to the end of June, with the hope of extending further after that. She's done well with her French raiders so far.

She'll be having 15 horses out there this summer, to take advantage of their levels of prize money, which do give you a chance of covering costs and maybe even making a profit.

Myself and Jay (my syndicate partner) have purchased a share between us, mainly as we're intrigued to see how it all works, (esp the owners' experience & levels of prize money) we quite fancied a couple of trips to France this summer to watch racing... and of course, it may give us ideas for next summer and syndicating a horse under our RTPS banner/management!

The details

  • To clarify, this is not an RTP Syndicate and we're not managing it, just helping Amy out. (maybe next year!) Having said that, if a group of our members get involved this summer, we will try and coordinate any French trips.

  • The horse.... Chateau d'If ...  aged 4, 2/9, having won at Lingfield on his last start. He'll be ready to run in France from next month, where Amy plans to run him x6 times, all being well. He qualifies for 55% French Premiums, which means he gets 55% on top of the standard prize money. On his final start he's likely to be run in a claimer, to be sold.

  • Membership will cost just £500 (+ VAT, so £600 all in, one off cost) from now until end of June (equates to 1.66%, 1.66% capital in horse, 1.66% all prize money and 1.66% any resale) With the French premiums, and what he could be claimed for, I personally think he could make that all back - but don't hold me to it! Assume it's £600 spent, but I'd be surprised if a chunk of that, or all, isn't returned come the end of his French stint.

  • The opportunity to experience racing at some of the premier French racecourses.

  • Racing Club mornings on the gallops with Amy and her team will be regularly organised.

  • Every member is treated as an individual including receiving regular updates and entry alerts. (managed by Amy/her team, using the Racing Manager portal) (but obviously if you've any questions etc you can send them to us)

  • No extra costs involved.

I think that's all the important stuff. You may have little interest, but thought I'd ask.

If you like the idea of 'Chasing Euros', or have any questions, hit 'reply', and I'll forward relevant details to Amy's racing secretary, who'll take it from there. Hopefully we'll see you in France!

Thanks for your time,

Josh
