Subject: Charles Byrnes Gamble: What was all the fuss about??

Hello Friend

In this week's Weekly Diary I discuss the Charles Byrnes gamble and in this particular example, wonder what all the fuss/hysteria  was about.

My closing comment on this article reads:

I suppose my gripe is with the view that ‘you had to be in the know’ in order to back any of these horses, or to back the treble. Well, for me, that is bollo*ks. They were not impossible to find.

In it I go through all three horses and imagine a scenario where we could have found them the evening before, without needing to be 'in the know'. Some will agree with my views, many will disagree and all comments are welcome.

Indeed Jim has already commented- we disagree on most things,  and this is no different!

Worth a read if you have a few minutes spare.
