Subject: Are Trainer Track Stats Useless?

Hello Friend

Are Trainer Track Stats Useless?

...well, no is the short answer to that question. But...

...i've been pondering plenty in 'lockdown' as to the future of my blog and indeed my Members Club. It's allowed me to step off my hamster wheel. (more on that another day, but for a variety of reasons all content will be 'free to air' for a few months - you're in for a treat! :))

There are aspects of my approach and content that need improving/simplifying and with that in mind i've written a blog post which touches on my approach to trainer track profiles/stats, thinking about why trainers do well at certain tracks, and the logic behind it. You may find it an interesting read.

There's also a link to last year's Flat stats report for interest.

The 'comments' may be worth a flick through also, including some musings as to how to approach this 'Flat Season', especially the first few weeks and whether trainer stats will be of any use.

All the best,
Josh

p.s French Racing - i've asked a friend to write a couple of posts that may help you with the French racing which kicks off on Monday. I'll publish the first one on Friday with the other on Sunday. He specialises in French racing and there's a few trainer/jockey pointers of interest and other thoughts.
