Subject: A trip down memory lane

Hello Friend

I hope your bank holiday weekend was as enjoyable as possible in the circumstances. I spent some of mine relocating back to Suffolk, after 13 enjoyable years in Liverpool. It's time for the next chapter.

Racing will soon return and in the coming days i'll outline my approach on the blog moving forwards.

In the meantime, I thought i'd share my 'Racing Memories' post one last time - my thanks to the 30 or so readers who've shared their happiest racing memories - when you read through you can't help but smile, and it makes you realise what's great about this game - the experiences shared, and the memories made. There really is something special about this great sport of ours.

In a way I've found them quite inspiring and i'll be working hard in the coming months to grow the community, help make your experience of racing more enjoyable, and with any luck help forge new memories.

You can flick through some cracking racing memories in the comments, HERE>>>

There's happy memories from one of Ziga Boy's owners from when he won his first Skybet Chase, stories of big wins from small stakes accumulators, memories from the 1960s and every decade since, jaw dropping equine performances, love, heartbreak and the sheer joy of being with family and friends at a race meeting when the winners flow. Some of them are really quite emotional.

Reading through them will get your juices flowing and excited for the return of racing. So, make a brew and take a trip down memory lane :)

All the best,
Josh
