So close to a big win...
Oh how close David and his team came last Saturday to winning the Scoop6 jackpot with the first 5 winners - at 3/1 - 8/1 - 9/1 - 5/4 - 4/1 - and with them holding 2 of the 16 tickets left going into the last race (from 66,556 tickets), their 2 selections in the 15 runner race end up coming 2nd and 3rd - with one of them coming into less than 2.0 in running on Betfair!
Agony!
And worse still, the 12/1 winner was included in their SCOOP6 PLUS selections list, which ended up with ALL 6 WINNERS. Still, that's more a positive than a negative for the future. (a 52/650/1 accumulator if you somehow used the selections shortlist to land on them all! Hopefully a few backed the odd winner in singles)
As a consolation, David's syndicate won £3,078 by way of 32 Place Fund dividends (80% of shares/stakes), which they'll be reinvesting on behalf of members this Saturday.
David, his team and those of us who play this week could be playing for £400K by way of a near £300K bonus yet to be played for (and they'll only have 1 pick in the race) plus up to £100K in the Win Fund.
