6 , 7 (1/28, 9 places outside) Positives. He has his conditions again. The '6' above was on hi seasonal reappearance and there wasn't really an excuse for his last run. Again he was sent off at a big price which isn't a positive with him, more on that shortly. He is 2/2 at the track, 1/1 over CD and 2/2 for this jockey. Al race conditions are fine. He also drops down in class, and there are no problems with his mark. Negatives. Well there are a few pace pushers/leaders in here and it could be hard for him to dominate. He is 0/15, 3 places when priced over 8/1. He is currently 20/1 in places and up against a couple of progressive types (but so was Igleby Angel today). My Verdict: 1/2 point 20/1 (general) Well it feels this may be a wasted bet as market support would appear to be important. However I get gripped by fear with horses at these odds when there are no real negatives bar stats on the odds. What if they win?! Such a thought means I need to have something on and trust the profile, even though it doesn't feel like today is the day. Having said that he drops in class, likes the CD and has a jockey on top that has won twice on him. He is worth chancing and actually he doesn't have to lead to win. *** 6.30 Lingfield Eastern Dragon Ideal Cond. C5 or 6, 16-30 days Form in Cond. 1,1,1 7 (1/12, 4 places outside) Positives. He has his conditions and has been most predictable so far when returning in these conditions. Good to Firm is fine, he has won on this through to Heavy. He is 2/5, 3 places under this jockey and is 3/7, 4 places in C5<£3.5k. He is also 3/6, 4 places when rated under OR70. Negatives. Well he ran poorly last time but was never really in the race and maybe it is best to put a line through that run. My Verdict. 1 point win (10/1 general). As with all horses around this price I hope they don't drift as in general that has been a poor sign so far.
