Subject: 2 Year Olds To Follow + New Tipping Trial On Blog >>>

Hello Friend

A bit of everything today. Hopefully something for you to take away...

I hope you survived Royal Ascot. I for one just about scraped through, in no small part to Sioux Nation at 20/1. I also thoroughly enjoyed ITVs coverage and their viewing figures were pretty impressive.

While on the subject of Ascot, it may be worth noting the record of Jamie Spencer when riding in 8f Handicaps at the track. It is barmy. I noted it when looking at the Hunt Cup but decided not to follow it blind. More fool me as he banged in 2x 40/1 BFSP winners after that. Gulp. Idiot.

So> Jamie Spencer> Ascot>8f>Handicaps> EW...

28 bets / 8 wins / 16 wins|places / 28% win SR / +80 SP / +120 BFSP

Let's hope he keeps riding for a few more years yet. Those figures are very impressive. I don't want to miss the next big one to go in. Clearly his patient, hold up style, is generally suited to this CD esp in big fields where normally, but not always, they go too quick up front.

Hugh Fowler 2 Year Olds

Another superb article from our resident 2 year old expert. Plenty to take away from this post including a few horses to follow. And if you are anything like me you are bound to learn something new/think about racing in a different way, when having a read through

King of The Claimers

Tipping Trial...

One of you good readers fancies themselves as a bit of an expert on Flat/AW Claimers. They are certainly a specialist area.

He wanted to put his skills to the test and asked if he could post his Tips/Race Previews on the daily posts. I've never a problem with interesting content being post.

Peter will be posting tips by 10am on days when there are claimers.

There is a 'selection' and an in depth preview. He is keeping records etc so we can see how he goes. Tipping is a tough game and good luck to him.

That's all for today,
All the best,
Josh
