In summary...
Kaleb & Proud Mari: for the first time in 2 years, a handful of shares have become available in our two founding jumps horses. If we have a horse or two to get us to a 'Festival' next spring, including some proper 'Saturday' races along the way, it's likely to be one of these two. Kaleb's uncle is Kalashnikov, his dam was a listed winner, and Proud Mari's dam won a G1 Novice Chase... here's hoping, in what is a game for the dreamers! :)
Shandancer: there have always been a few shares available in Shan, and after his next two starts at Amy Murphy's in Newmarket, he'll be moving to Dr Richard Newland's in Worcester. He 'will' win at least once next season, which will be some thrill and he'll race plenty, giving us all many opportunities to go racing in the summer sun. He's sound, hardy and tries - those types are hard to come by!
Sir Canford: our first horse with Dr Newland, who won on his 3rd start for us and for him. There's more to come and there's still time to join in for the rest of the summer, just x3 months through to the end of October. He will run later this month and should win another race or two before October is out. We hope to extend our time with him after October, but one step at a time.
NEW HORSE: Blazing Soldier: Our new 5YO chestnut gelding, whose half brother Evander, was a 130+ chaser. We'll be singing and dancing if he reaches that level. He cost just £15000 and is from my trusted bloodstock source who's keeping 25% in him for now. He's run x3 in Irish Points with some solid form, and has been in the UK since May, spending his summer strengthening up. The plan is to win a UK point to point in November.
We'll then send him to the excellent Mark Walford, who's based near Sheriff Hutton in Yorkshire. Mark has a 17% win sr with all his chasers - the best SR of any trainer based in Yorkshire/North East/West, who've had at least 300 chase runners. We thought he'd be the best place to help Blazing Soldier achieve his chasing potential.
The plan is very much to run him on the northern jumps circuit, with the odd southern raid no doubt. Once at Mark's come December time, he'll start in novice hurdles, but his future is all about chasing down the line. Do check out the page below to find out more.
If you're interested, let us know ASAP. We plan to kick off from 1st September, don't miss out :)

The horses are just one part of course... we're dedicated to making your ownership experience as enjoyable and inclusive as possible.
We communicate in a variety of ways, including a broadcast WhatsApp group for each horse, that we use to keep you informed in real time through the week. You won't lack for updates or contact from us.
You'll be invited to our 'all owners' WhatsApp chat group, for those of you who like sharing your own picks or for any other chat with your fellow owners.
Every Monday I send an email update for each horse, provide a race preview and review each time they run and we organise all the race-day admin, arranging your Owners & Trainers badges and ensuring you have a great time on-course.
If you can't make race-day, we keep you updated in real time from track-side, with videos of the horse from the paddock, interviews with the jockey and so on.
We also organise plenty of social events through the year, including stable visits - we also work with yards who have an open door policy, so you're welcome to visit whenever is convenient to you, with a few days notice. Again, we'll help sort that, just let us know. You're allowed to visit any of our yards, even if you don't own a horse trained there.
Don't just take my word for it though, as per one of our owners, Darren B...
"Of the three syndicates I've been involved with, yours has by the far the best level of feedback and opportunities for socialising, which I think are both very important. I'm really glad I got involved..."
There's much to look forward to in the months ahead.
