I have something a bit different for you all to consider today, which with any luck will excite a few of you! I'm fairly you may have spent £19.99 on worse things... :)
I've teamed up with a James Walsh, who I know via my Racing To Profit website/blog business, which is where a large chunk of my owners originated from when I first started my Racing To Profit Syndicates (now 12 horses/180 owners).
Thankfully I'm still firing out winners, another one today at 5/1 from Ffos Las, +£1460 to £20 bets since Dec 1st, +£3,108 since last March (pays for the odd share!). I'll enjoy it while it lasts. James runs the superb 'Tipster Empire' website, has his own tipping line and a successful Scoop6 syndicate (he's won it a few times, including the bonus, at Cheltenham, ITV fame!). He's a nice guy, I trust him, and he also happens to run a 'competitions' website, which is doing rather well, for all early days.
We've come together to try a competition where you can win a share in a racehorse, not something we think has ever been tried before. It's a tough environment at the moment and we need to try a few things, this may work, or we may fail spectacularly, but nothing ventured and all that!

We have a handful of shares available in Coolree, he's a superb syndicate horse, will be making his seasonal return before the end of March, will run regularly through to October time (from Yarmouth, Goodwood, Beverly and who knows where else), plenty of days out (x13 for us last season!), great fun and importantly.. he's tough, sound, tries, and knows how to win.
Last year was his first season with us, having picked him up from Ireland for just £10k. It took us a while for him to acclimatise to the UK and for us to work out his ideal conditions, and how to ride him. We got a win out of him at Beverley, which was a superb day, and he was unlucky not to win at Yarmouth under Billy the Kid.
He's back on his last winning mark, but I suspect will improve this season - he enjoyed a good holiday, his first for an age, and has come back bouncing, looking stronger and fresher than Amy Murphy and her husband Lemos have ever seen him. He's only just turned 6 and these flat handicappers can keep improving with age. He's now won £21k in his career to date.
He's unexposed on turf for us, wants a fairly decent surface, and needs to be held onto just off the pace, or further back, to come with one run at the leaders - it's always exciting watching him fly home! He will be winning races this flat season, I've no doubt about that. He really is the perfect syndicate flat horse.
