Oh well it wasn't such a Super Saturday for me and not one I'll dwell on for too long! I was due some 'big race' duds after recent successes (and they'll be a few more), and my other fancies may all still be running. The less said about the 'through the card' the better also! I got what I deserved for rushing and trying to cover too much, apologies. Poor. The Newmarket Trainer Micros landed on a couple of winners at 11s and 4s, not that I was near them! Astro King, who very nearly won The John Smith's Cup at 50/1, was also on the trends list, and would have been painful!

It was great to see Amy Murphy and the team, (where we have x7 of our Syndicate horses), win that big pot, their biggest UK flat success I think. If they have a good horse, they can do it all, over jumps, on the flat etc. Hopefully they get sent some more decent types, Pride of America costing £75k as a yearling and the wouldn't have many in the £70k+ budget.

Moving on, for now... (at some point I will flag some 'horses to follow' from recent days')...
