Subject: 🏇🟢 How to source a racehorse...become a Racehorse Owner today! Introducing...

Hello, Friend,

Introducing Coolree... do you fancy owning a 'ready to run' AW/Flat horse with us?

I hope you had a great weekend! We stride into a new week with our tails up... i'm entering it on the back of the second best ever week I've had on the blog since 2015...since last Tuesday's first bet of the week...

21 bets / 9 wins / 14 places (inc wins) / +85 points profit (2 point win or 1 pt EW where advised) / +202% ROI

It's all been a bit silly really. I was -13 in November before Tuesday, on the back of a +31 point October. So, +103 points since I re-started the Members' Club from October 1st. Most services would be happy with that over a season or a whole year, as would I in truth!

I did once have a +125 point 'Cheltenham Festival Week' on the blog, many of you will remember it well, so a proper hot spell isn't unknown, but sadly they don't come around every week!

Inevitably there will be a dip at some point but I'll keep working hard and doing the same things. The 'monthly trainer' angles have pulled in 50+ points also. What a great few weeks!

My Greatwood Hurdle trends I shared for free had a shortlist of five, including the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th. I hope they helped you profit from the race.

In any case, I'm not here today to talk to you about my Members' Club.

But a new horse... and your chance to become an RTP Syndicate owner...

The Racing To Profit Syndicate...

As you may or may not know, along with a good friend Jay, we own and run the Racing To Profit Syndicate, and that lad above, Coolree, will be our 8th horse currently in training, this one with the excellent Amy Murphy in Newmarket (Kalashnikov & Pride of America's trainer)

We've only been going just over 2 years, the Syndicate started on the back of my blog and my loyal readers/members, most of whom snapped up the shares in our first ever Syndicate, of which Kaleb now leads the way.

We're greatful to have the support of around 100 owners across the board, with horses at Amy's, Dr Richard Newland's (near Worcester) and one up in Yorkshire, soon to be with Mark Walford (after he's blitzed his Point field on 3rd December at Hexham :) )

This is your chance to join us all!

Below you can find all relevant details on our new horse, including a video from myself.

Now, even if you have no interest in this horse, I'd argue the video is worth a watch as it elaborates on the factors I'm looking for in a 'horses in training' sale purchase, and why, when Amy told me about him, I got very excited. Most of it centres on his 'hot form', how well handicapped he looks, his unexposed profile and the belief that Amy will improve him. He's going to be a cracking fun horse this winter and next summer... do have a read..

Introducing Coolree - who fancies some immediate AW>Flat action? (and possibly hurdles down the line, maybe)

I hope you’re having a great week and you’re excited about becoming the latest owner in our growing RTP Syndicate community! 😊

I may well have just the horse for you…

Amy Murphy (Southgate Stables, Newmarket) has been shopping at a Horses In Training Sale and has given us 2 weeks to see if we can get enough interest in Coolree, who we expect to be an exciting new addition to the ranks.

If I fail to excite enough interest, I'll have to watch this horse winning in someone else's colours, which won't be much fun!

Do take some time to consider what follows, and if Coolree is for you, please do complete the 'register your interest' form down below, or just email back/get in touch!

** UPDATE ** Existing RTPS Owners have already snapped up 40%. Just 35% remains, don’t miss out…

Let me tell you about Coolree...

I've recorded a 30 minute 'over the shoulder' video which includes all information required and is the best way for me to bring him to life, and why we're so excited.

You can watch this HERE >>>

As explained in the video:-

Coolree (Mondialiste (Galileo) x Quaich (Danehill) )

Coolree is a 4YO gelding previously trained in Ireland. He's raced 11 times on the flat/AW and has shown some exceptional form on my assessment, for his level - he's run very well in some strong races, races which have worked out very well, with numerous subsequent winners in-front of him, and behind. I dive into all that form in the video.

He's technically 0/11 but did actually win at Killarney a few starts ago, doing so fairly cosily and taking a while to pull up. However, he was DQ as the jockey hit the 2nd over the nose with his whip and that was deemed to have made a difference - I don't think it did, but it's good news for us, as we can start off by winning a maiden, and go from there!

He has form on turf, on the AW at Dundalk, and is unexposed in handicaps. He's also unexposed over 10f in trip, which some evidence suggests could be transformative, as well as a stiff 8f. He's worn a hood a couple of times but doesn't need it, and has never worn CP/Blinkers/Visor - he looks very straightforward at the moment, a trier, a likeable type.

The thinking is that Amy Murphy will transform him. I have a 'so-so' view of his previous trainer, who evidently did ok with him but she's 3/93 all runners in the last two years and this is a significant trainer upgrade. Pride of America used to be with another trainer, and we've seen how that switch has gone. As did Really Super back in the day, transformed from a maiden to a winning jumps machine. Including The Summer Plate. To name but two.

He has arrived in poor physical condition, in part due to his journey over from Ireland maybe. He looks like he's been over-trained and under-fed. The poor sod. Yet despite that, he's still been running massive races, often bumping into horses 10lb+ ahead of their marks.

We've seen at first hand how Amy can transform the condition of these Irish imports, she did it with The Plumber, with Shan, with Boom. And she'll do so with Coolree. Amy thinks he may have been suffering from minor stomach ulcers also, which is standard in many horses, that she and her vet are now treating. He will be back bouncing in around 3 weeks time, and he arrived over fit and ready to run.

However, on my assessment Amy wouldn't even need to improve him (which she will) ,as the level of his Irish form is such that he would naturally be very competitive in UK AW races this winter, many of which are far weaker than the races he's been running in.

He has a very workable Official Rating of 69, his form suggests he could be a 10-15lb better horse than that. When he 'won' at Killarney, he posted a Racing Post Rating of 82. That was in July.

His best recent form, two starts ago at Listowel, when 3rd of 15, reads very well, like much of his efforts in his career to date. The 1-2 from that race both won their next starts, rising by 17lb and 14lb respectively. The horse behind him in 4th won his next 2, rising by 11lb. He started off his career in some strong enough Curragh Maidens, running with credit, top 4/5 in 20+ runner races, always staying on and trying his best.

There's much to be excited about for all those reasons stated. Do watch my video here: (it's one of my better ones, the time flies by!)

He's a lovely stamp of a horse and we can't wait to get going!

The Plan -

Once Amy has sorted him out and got some condition on him, he'll be hitting the racecourse. We expect this to be middle to end of December, by the middle of January at the latest. He arrived race fit/over fit if anything, having lost too much condition.

We will run him on the All-Weather for the next few months, trying to win as many races as we can! If he shows us plenty and rises through the ranks, we can start thinking about the lucrative All-Weather championships but at this stage, we just want to have some fun, go racing, enjoy each other’s company, track his progress, and hopefully cheer him to victory. Simple :)

We will take him around the country, trips to Wolverhampton and Newcastle when the races allow, as well as the other AW courses, Southwell, Chelmsford, Lingfield, Kempton. We will see which one he likes most! :)

We will then switch to the Flat Turf and see what he can do. He has form on all sorts of ground. I don't think he wants it very fast, but I'm not sure some of the Irish soft/heavy ground he's been running on has been ideal either. His 'win' at Killarney was on good to soft.

In full disclosure... the horse does have some size and scope about him, and is related to flat winners and a 2m4f hurdle winner. IF he did really well for us on the AW/flat and we concluded he'd hit his rating ceiling, we may have a look and see if he takes to hurdling, and go from there. However, that's not in immediate consideration and the plan at the moment. If he progressed as his form suggests he could, and with what Amy could do with him, we may just want to stick to the flat/AW, certainly for year 1.  And he is only a 4YO, soon to be 5YO. We are very much thinking AW and Flat at the moment, but it gives us options.

He ticks every box on paper really for a Horses In Training sale at this price point, with the idea of going racing ASAP and hopefully cheering home a win or three. Obviously things can go wrong, the wheels can come off. If it doesn't work out as expected, you know we cut ties quickly enough, but I'm not expecting to do that.

It will be an initial 1 Year Commitment from 1st  December. We will re-assess after six months at the end of May, and assuming he's been running well, will crack on for the rest of the year. Depending on how that goes, come November we will ponder the future and whether we crack on with Year 2.

Obviously you're free to leave at that point, before his Year 2 starts, or we may collectively decide to move him on. At this stage my head tells me this could be a horse we'll have some fun with for two or three seasons, but time will tell of course! His form could really take off over here.

As usual they'll be a dedicated WhatsApp broadcast group and a weekly email update etc. We do all the organising, including of race-days, sorting out Owners & Trainers badges etc. You’ll get race previews and reviews from me, we’ll keep you updated from track-side via the WhatsApp group, and of course we’ll be organising trips to Amy’s yard.

The Cost

Capital: He cost £13,200 in total, to 1st December.

This includes his sales cost, sales house commission, agents commission, full vetting, transport from Ireland, Amy's costs up to 1st December, all including VAT.

Amy will be keeping 25% for now. She's quite excited by him and I think the sort that makes a trainer look good if they can improve them plenty.

That works out at a one-off capital of £132 per 1%,  £330 per 2.5%. £660 per 5%

PLUS the usual Newmarket RTPS monthly fees, starting 1st December...

·  1% = £33.99 per month

·  2.5% = £84.99 per month

·  5% = £169.98 per month

Bigger share % are available! :)

We won't require the capital and 1st months fees until the latter half of December, after Christmas if needs be.

At this stage we just need a firm commitment from you, using the form below, or just email back, or phone me!

As always, we're happy to answer any questions you may have. A proper ‘Agreement’ will follow in due course, we do everything properly in these parts, with full transparency.
