The Greatwood Handicap Hurdle...
It is just getting silly now. I'm not quite sure what's happened to me in the last few weeks but I won't complain! I wasn't going to mention the 'members' club' again for a while but after yesterday, I have to! I don't want you missing out on any more winners. :)
Yesterday was another barmy day, 6 selections posted on the blog, x3 winners at Cheltenham at 14/1, 4/1 and 11/2 - including the Nap, Stage Star, who in my mind was always decimating that lot if standing up, which he just about did. Hopefully you may have used the trends lists to land on him! Gavin Cromwell improved his excellent HQ handicap chase record with a deserved winner in the Amateur's contest, and Broadway Boy made all as expected, job done.
Another +25 points in the pot, taking me to +100 points since October 1st. I doubt many other 'services' have won that amount in the period, to 9am available prices and to level stakes, but I could be wrong! I'm +85 points or so in profit since Tuesday. Just silly. When will it end?! (maybe today) +£1000 to £10 bets is not to be sniffed at in this great game. +£200 to £2 bets is still good going.
It's good to be confident of course, but I know full well I'll be brought back down to earth at some point soon. But I'll keep working hard. I'd have taken +100 points over the whole season. But now must adjust the expectations somewhat. I've never been reading it this well, maybe it's just taken me 8 years of blogging to refine the eyes! :)
Those of you who signed up for Oct 1st are clover, those who've taken the plunge more recently and thought 'sod it', I've spend 99p on worse things, are also in dreamland!

Now, something that is actually useful for you! My Greatwood Handicap Hurdle trends and pointers below, which I've used to land on a couple in the race, we will see if they hold up... I'm sure members' won't mind me sharing them...

15/15 had 0-3 places (inc wins) in hncp hurdles
14/15 had 0-1 hncp wins
12/15 had 0-2 hncp runs
12/15 had 0-2 hncp hurdle runs

A so-so trends profile in sense no 15/15 to give us a more solid list, but ignoring the odds for a minute, applying the other pointers would have found 12/15 winners (blanks in 2015 , 2012) (12/76, 23p, +70 BFSP) , and IF upholding, would point to just five…
