As promised, below I've pulled together a couple of free posts with trainer stats for Galway and Goodwood...

Before that, a quick reflection on yesterday... poor Rampoldi Plan, well backed, has bumped into another one, he was well beat in the end, but he comfortably beat the rest and stayed on well enough. The winner doubled in price. He is well handicapped I think, but an odd run, he took an age to pick up the bridle – it looked like David wanted him handier, and I don’t know if they went quick enough or not again, but he swept around them and stayed on well. The sectionals will be interesting.

Maybe he needs further again, some headgear, or a more galloping expanse. That was the best he’s settled so could be getting the hang of the game, we shall see if goes close on his next couple of starts. They should find a race for him. Maybe he’ll be one for juvenile hurdling also later in the year.

They're worth a flick through. The x6 trainers and x1 Jockey have averaged +83.25 points Betfair Exchange Starting Price between them in each of the last 8 years. Obviously it's rarely that simple, but who knows, more of the same next week would be welcome!
