| Hey Friend!
How are things there by you? It's been raining here in the Midwest, and more rain is expected tomorrow ☔⛈🌩 , so I was thinking. Many storms have a silver lining, and life is pretty much the same way.
There is a positive side to most situations if we're willing to look for it, and being able to do so allows us to flow through problems with more ease and grace.
Life's storms come and go, but it's the way we traverse them that makes all the difference. If we look for even the slightest trace of a silver lining, we are sure to find it.
Today's reflection titled "On Stormy Days I Revel in the Sustenance of the Rain" speaks about this ability to look for the positive side, or at least the lesson in most storms of life.
When it rains, we can look at the dark clouds and succumb to the dreariness or look at the good that the rain does provide.
I can look back on all the storms in my life and see, very clearly, how God used them to strengthen me and create a strong character, much like a stone carver chisels away at the rock to reveal the masterpiece beneath. How we choose to look at things is always a choice.
