Subject: I almost didn't go...

FriendFriend

how many times did you have the chance to go somewhere, and do something that could be fun but for whatever reason you didn't go? Maybe you were tired or had too much to do, or work was weighing on you and you couldn't justify taking the time out of your busy schedule.

That was me the other night. I have so much going on right now that my head is spinning. Still working on finishing my book and so many other aspects of my business are competing for attention that when my niece asked me to go down the street for bingo I just didn't think it was a good idea to take time out; I was so focused on progress. She and a mutual friend finally convinced me and I dragged myself away from my desk where I've been spending an exorbitant amount of time lately.

The truth of the matter is that I had so much fun 🤗. We laughed so hard 😂🤣(and we all know how good it is to laugh) and I was able to see the exhilaration in her when she won $450 in the last game, with the last (61st) number drawn which was 61. I kept thinking how glad I was that I went with them and didn't miss this amazing moment.

Even after I had posted this reminder (see below) on my Facebook page about NOT putting things off, WORK and getting things done got the best of me 😏. So I'm sharing it here for you, as a reminder of how short and precious life is and that we should grab every opportunity to experience it more fully.

"Barely the day started, and it's already six in the evening.

Barely arrived on Monday, and it's already Friday.

.. and the month is already over.

.. and the year is almost over.

.. and already 40, 50 or 60 years of our lives have passed.

.. and we realize that we lost our parents and friends.

.. and we realize it's too late to go back.

So... let's try, despite everything, to enjoy the remaining time. Let's keep looking for activities that we like.

Let's put some color in our grey.

Let's smile at the little things in life that put balm in our hearts.

And despite everything, we must continue to enjoy, with serenity, this time we have left.

Let's try to eliminate the afters.

I'm doing it after.

I'll say it after.

I'll think about it after.

We leave everything for later, like ′′after′′ is ours.

Because what we don't understand is that:

Afterwards, the coffee gets cold.

Afterwards, priorities change.

Afterwards, the charm is broken.

Afterwards, health passes.

Afterwards, the kids grow up.

Afterwards, parents get old.

Afterwards, promises are forgotten.

Afterwards, the day becomes the night.

Afterwards, life ends.

And then it's often too late.

So.. Let's leave nothing for later.

Because still waiting to see later, we can lose the best moments, the best experiences, the best friends, and the best family.

The day is today. The moment is now.

We are no longer at the age where we can afford to postpone what needs to be done right away.

It Looks Like An Eternity,

But It's A Short Trip,

Enjoy Life And Always Be Kind."
