Subject: Imperfect Foods & Ukraine

I got my weekly Imperfect Foods delivery the other dayFriend.

I opened the box and started digging out all those beautiful organic fruits & veggies but then... I started to cry.

I've long learned to appreciate the small things in life.

Opening up those boxes is always a highlight for me - I look at each item and marvel at God's creativity in all the shapes, sizes, and varieties; this time, it was different.

I was overtaken with sadness.

I thought about the people of Ukraine.

How most of them would now give anything for a 'normal' piece of life like having access to fresh fruits and vegetables.

I thought about how they've lost all the small but precious parts of life that we often take for granted.

I pictured all the lives disrupted, homes and pets left behind, and the chaos that has replaced their 'normal' lives 😢. I cried and cried.

Life is precious, fleeting, and unpredictable.

I wanted to tell you this because while I cried my tears, it brought me even more appreciation for all the simple, seemingly insignificant parts of my own life.

I wanted to help you focus on your own as well.

So today, as you go through your day, no matter how tough it may be, remember and pray for those whose 'normal' has been radically ripped away from them and give thanks for all the small blessings that are still all around you.

Together we'll be expanding love, gratitude, and prayer and those are always good things to focus on.

Let's pray there is a timely resolution to this atrocity and that hope and peace is soon restored.

I'm wishing you a day filled with gratitude and thanks for every little moment in it.Friend

Sending you lots of love 💖,

P.S. What's one thing that you are most grateful for today?
