One thing I know for sure is that there will always be obstacles and challenges on the path to our dreams. That's just part of life.

There was a time when challenges would completely derail me. I would give in to thoughts such as "maybe I'm just not meant to be doing this", or "maybe I just don't have what it takes". My ability to stay on track towards realizing my dreams was weaker than the fear of doing so and therefore, in the presence of challenges, I would cave.

But that is no longer the case; when roadblocks present themselves I go into problem solving mode and so, this is a testament to the fact that we CAN learn resilience to stay the course. You too can learn to overcome obstacles and roadblocks so that you can ultimately create the results you set out to achieve.

The truth is that if everything was 'easy', we probably would not appreciate it as much. At the end of the day, when we have worked hard and persevered through a lot to achieve our goals/dreams, it is THAT very fact that makes the victory sweeter. It's in the knowing that we have 'earned' our results that makes them that much more rewarding.

Today's blog post offers you 10 strategies to overcome the roadblocks that can, and often will, present themselves on your journey. Apply these and begin to develop the tenacity and grit that is required for you to realize the results you seek.

Overcoming obstacles is just a part of life since most of us have some sort of hurdles to overcome each day. How we deal with obstacles and adversity defines our lives.

Some obstacles are more serious than others. You might crave potato chips, only to realize that the bag is empty. This is a minor obstacle and the solution is obvious. Bigger obstacles require an effective approach and a high level of perseverance.

Case Study

Stephanie was happy go lucky person on the outside. She appeared strong, confident and successful but on the inside... there was another story going on.
