Gebre Waddell started in the music business as a mastering engineer from his Stonebridge Mastering in Memphis, but he's always been into programming since he was a kid.
He eventually turned that into a real business as co-founder and CEO of plugin developer Soundways. The company now offers a number of next generation plugins like the Core Production bundle of mixing helpers, and the revolutionary SoundCredit app for registering credits and song metadata.
Gebre is also an author of the Complete Audio Mastering Handbook as well as President of the Recording Academy Memphis Chapter. We had a great conversation that I'm sure you'll really enjoy.
