3rd Call applications selected for funding
28 applications have been selected for funding during the 5th Joint Monitoring Committee meeting, which took place on 11-12 December 2019 in Minsk, Belarus.
11 selected projects will contribute to the most popular Programme priority 1.1 “Enhancing the access to social and other services for vulnerable groups” and will promote healthy lifestyle as well as improve social and medical rehabilitation services in the border area of 3 countries.

9 projects, approved under the priority 3.1 “Promoting and preserving cultural and historical heritage and traditional skills”, will result in preservation of cultural heritage and development of innovative tourism products in several municipalities of Latvia (Livani, Vilaka, Preili, Rezekne, Daugavpils and Koknese), Lithuania (Vilnius, Panevezys, Druskininkai, Salcininkai, Anyksciai and Kedainiai) and Belarus (Polotsk, Vitebsk, Rossony, Lida, Senno, Glubokoye, Mosty, Grodno and Minsk).

5 projects will be implemented under the priority 2.1 “Increasing capacity of local and regional authorities to tackle common challenges”, where different service providers will work together to increase, e.g., the efficiency of cybercrime investigations or will fight cross-border crime and illegal migration.

2 projects will improve the capacity of citizens and NGOs of involved countries by organising discussions on socially significant issues and decision-making process under the priority 2.2 “Strengthening society”.

1 trilateral project, approved under the priority 1.2 “Stimulating employment through entrepreneurship and innovations” will develop innovative entrepreneurship programmes for women.

In total 98 organisations from Latvia, Lithuania and Belarus will participate in the implementation of supported projects under all 5 Programme’s priorities.
The list of projects is available on our website. No further calls for proposals are planned within the current programming period.
Instructions for auditors
We have prepared instructions for auditors on filling in Expenditure Verification Reports and created the list of most common mistakes. Materials are available for download on our website.
