HAPPY INTERREG COOPERATION DAY!
It was a very colourful, joyful and fulfilling day! See how we celebrated in our quest for “traveling border ducks” exploring the incredible results of cooperation in the border area!
Several EU funded projects were visited including a 3,7 km hiking trip in Veisiejai and a 3 km hiking trip in Orzysz in search for “ducks” as the event was inspired by the project “Duck traveling cross border roads”.
Thank you all for your active participation and cooperation!
NEWS FROM OUR PROJECTS
Developing Life Skills
Language fiesta dedicated to European Day of Languages

The European Day of Languages is celebrated every year in September. This year the multilingual competition “Treasury of European Languages '23” was organised by our beneficiary – Adolfas Ramanauskas-Vanagas Gymnasium in Alytus.
On September 26th, during the language event, students presented their teams, took part in a quiz about European languages, played charades and even tried to recreate fairy tales. The languages spoken at the event were Lithuanian, English, Spanish, French, German, Norwegian and many others.
Thanks to our project Developing Life Skills this school created several alternative educational spaces, e.g., language laboratory, mobile stage and outdoor class-dome to hold various events involving more local children in non-formal education process.

Preserving Traditional Skills
Enjoy Touristic “Honey” Route in Dzūkija

The tourism route was created by our project, preserving traditional Hollow Tree Beekeeping to encourage cultural tourism, expand the knowledge of ethnic culture and traditions and present the traces of one of the oldest local businesses – forest tree beekeeping, as well as other related traditions, natural and cultural values.
The project has also created the video film “Bees of the Woods”, the publications “Tree Beekeeping from Generation to Generation” about this ancient skill. We invite you to explore and share with the young readers of any age the project’s published book “Bee lessons” for 5th-8th grade students that presents the interesting facts about bees’ life in an attractive style!
