Whether you're LGBTQ+ or an ally, Pride Month is a significant event. 

Celebrated in June each year, Pride isn’t about politics. It is about everyday rights. It is about getting to live, breathe, and express as your full, authentic self. 

It is about safety. It is about dignity. It is about visibility and representation. It is also about contribution—your ability to share the incredible gifts that that only you can contribute to the world. 

With this in mind, the history behind the various Pride Flags should be included in textbooks and taught in school. 

Believe it or not, there are now dozens of them. Some of these flags date back as far as the 70's, while others were created in recent years.

This is why Michelle Visage of Rupaul's Drag Race shared my "Ultimate Guide to Pride Flags" on her Instagram Page today to her 1.9 million followers.
