Library Director's Message

Dear Library Patrons,

Happy Spring and welcome to the April edition of our library newsletter! I’m excited to share this month's program calendar with you, full of so many entertaining and informative events. From book clubs to career help to gardening lectures (and much more), there's something for everyone to enjoy at the library.

Our library is once again participating in the Passports to CT Libraries! This is a month-long initiative, modeled after the CT wine trail passport program, to encourage Connecticut residents of all ages to visit and explore libraries throughout the state. There are two ways to be entered to win one of four $200 gift cards:

  • Visit and get your passport stamped at 5 or more libraries. $200 gift cards will be awarded to one adult and one child chosen by random drawing.

  • Visit the most libraries! $200 gift cards will be awarded to one adult and one child who visited the most libraries from all participants throughout the state. Ties will be broken by random drawing.

Prize drawings will be held in May, so make sure you hand in your stamped passport before April 30. Please visit Passports to CT Libraries for more information.

As always, I welcome your feedback and encourage you to stop by to say hello, contact me to schedule a personal library tour or send me an email at ctyszka@berlinpeck.org.

Thank you for being part of our vibrant library community!

Sincerely,

Carrie Tyszka

Library Director
