“I wonder what it would be like to live in a world where it was always June.” —L. M. Montgomery
Summer Reading June – what a great month! We celebrate everything from National Go Barefoot Day to Father's Day to the Summer Solstice. Here at the Library, we celebrate the start of summer reading on June 17th. This year we will have a special weekly Adult Summer Reading newsletter. Subscribe to keep up to date with raffle winners, prizes, bonus challenges, and other updates. If you subscribe before June 7 you may win two tickets to A Bronx Tale (donated by the Shubert Theater)! Notary Services In order to supplement the Notary Services provided by the Town Clerk's Office in Town Hall, we are also beginning to offer Notary Services at the Library. You will be able to have items notarized daily and on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, as well as some Saturdays. Please call ahead, as these librarians also process passports, program and work the Reference Desk! The $5 fee is the same as Town Hall.
Flipster Magazines In answer to your requests for popular magazines, we are happy to present Flipster, a digital streaming service, that will let you enjoy Entertainment Weekly, The New Yorker and People Magazine.
Weiss Financial Ratings Online Our newest database, designed for both the beginner and seasoned investor, is Financial Ratings Online by Weiss Ratings. This delightfully simple and straightforward online format will provide you with the accurate, independent ratings and financial planning tools needed to make informed decisions about your insurance, Medicare, banking and investment options. All free with your Berlin-Peck library card!
Have I given you enough reasons to come visit? I certainly hope so. See you soon!
