Berlin-Peck Memorial Library • May 2019 Newsletter
Hello May!
Besides the traditional holidays of Mother's Day and Memorial Day, we also celebrate Star Wars Day (May 4th), National Dance like a Chicken Day (May 14th), and quite possibly my favorite, National Wine Day (May 25th) this month.

Spring Baubles & Bling Sale
Here at the Berlin-Peck Library, we are also celebrating our Spring Baubles & Bling Sale on Friday, May 3 from 5pm-8pm and Saturday, May 4 from 10am-2pm. What's different this time is that we've added purses to our sale. We were lucky to be gifted with donations of many designer handbags, some with tags still on, which can be purchased for bargain prices. Of course we will still have rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings and pins that would make great presents for those wonderful women you celebrate on May 12th, Mother's Day. Just stop at the ATM first – it's cash only!

Check us out on YouTube!
Did you know that the Library has a YouTube channel? We're starting to add some of our library programming there. Look for segments of Anne's popular Make and Takes and we hope to film programs presented by outside speakers as well. Click here to check us out on YouTube!
What can we do for you today?
Lastly, Library staff and members of our Friends and Board of Trustees will be out in the community with surveys to get your opinion on library services. We want to know what YOU want from your town library! Look for us at Stop & Shop, the Kensington Garden Club's Plant Sale and the Kensington Congregational Church's Festival on the Hill and please give us your feedback!

May the Fourth be with you!
