Subject: 🎨 Showcasing Artist Carol Welz

Experience the beauty of nature!

We are thrilled to announce an exhibition featuring the artwork of Carol Welz!

From brilliant flowers to vibrant landscapes and charming slice-of-life scenes, Welz's artwork invites you to discover the beauty in nature and the everyday.

Artwork will be on display in the library's Blanche Johnson Delaney Meeting Room, now through June 3. This room is occasionally used for library programs, so we encourage visitors to call ahead or check the online schedule before their visit. Walk-ins are welcome.

A Berlin native and BHS graduate, Carol Welz discovered her artistic talent at 11 while visiting her grandmother in Pennsylvania. Later, as a mother of two, there was little time to paint—but she dabbled here and there, moving from oil paint to watercolors. When her children were grown, she found she had the time to take more courses in watercolor and soon was painting on her own.

Welz paints mostly from her own photographs, including photos from around Berlin. Her main love is painting landscapes and flowers, with an attention to detail that leads to brilliant, lifelike paintings. She has won many prizes and awards and sold many paintings through the years.
