There is nothing wrong with you if you have fear.
Everybody has fear.
In fact, it's normal and healthy to have moments of fear.
So the question isn’t “Do I have fear?”
The real question is: “What do I do when fear shows up? How do I love myself when it grips me?”
Because Fear can feel like a bully, right?
It storms in, takes over. Pushes you around. Makes your mind go blank. Tells you
what to do.
And because it feels so awful, we fight it.
We fight the procrastination. The panic. The fog.
But I have an interesting idea to offer you:
What if Fear isn’t your enemy?
What if it’s just a messenger?
You see, Fear shows up when your system thinks there’s a threat.
That means, it’s actually trying to keep you safe.
The trouble is, when it takes over, you end up choosing from shame or avoidance instead of what you really need.
So what if you didn’t fight it?
What if, the next time fear shows up, you pause, put your hand on heart and say:
“Oh, this is fear. It thinks I’m in danger. Thank you for the message.”
And then, in the gentlest way, ask yourself:
“If I loved myself, how would I listen to the message now?”
Fear doesn't come to oppress or punish you.
It arrives to tell you something important.
Can you listen?
This month inside The Portal of Permission, we’re exploring exactly this: How to love yourself in the grip of fear. And the conversations in the community are tender and brave, and full of those “Oh, me too!” moments.
Next week is our Live Gathering where we discuss the theme and support each other and Eilat teaches live and answers your questions.
If you want to learn how to listen to the messages from fear - this is a beautiful time to step in and journey with us towards more self-love. Join us HERE .
