There’s an important step you might be skipping.
You’ve just done something.
Maybe something small.
Maybe something that took more out of you than you expected.
You sent the email.
You cleared a space.
You faced something you’ve been avoiding.
And then… almost immediately… you move on.
To the next thing.
The next task.
The next pressure.
We don’t often pause.
We don’t often let it land.
But something important happens when you stop, even for a moment…
and acknowledge what you’ve done.
Your nervous system catches up with you.
It softens.
It settles.
It registers: something shifted.
So this is what I want you to hear from me today:
Rest is not separate from getting things done the self-loving way.
It’s part of it.
Integration is part of it.
Without it, everything starts to feel like effort again.
Like pushing.
Like chasing.
This week inside the Portal, we’re doing something that can feel surprisingly unfamiliar.
We’re pausing.
Catching up gently if we need to.
Resting where we are.
Letting the shifts of this month settle into something more steady.
Because this way of doing things isn’t about squeezing more out of yourself.
It’s about building a relationship with yourself that you can actually live inside.
And that takes space.
If you want to learn how to do that, you’re very welcome to join us
inside The Portal of Permission this week.
A quiet place to rest, reflect with community, and gently continue… at your own pace.
If you loved yourself, what would you choose to do now?
