Sometimes the greatest rebellion of all is this:
Letting yourself exist.
Not the polished version of you.
Not the “improving” version.
Not the over-performing, stretched-thin, endlessly-available version.
Just… you.
As you are.
I’ve been thinking about how much of our suffering comes from the moments we turn away from ourselves.
The tiny ways we override what we feel, what we long for, what we prefer.
And how different life becomes when we start turning toward our truth instead.
This year, I’m inviting myself - and you - into something I’m calling A Year of Permission.
Not permission to work harder, achieve more, or become a shinier human but:
Permission to exist.
Permission to rest.
Permission to listen and speak your truth.
Permission to choose the softer, truer thing.
Permission to take the brave step.
Permission to stop apologising for your needs.
Permission to build your life one gentle micro-choice at a time.
As I keep saying, it’s astonishing how much changes when you stop abandoning yourself.
And if you want company while you practice this...
If you'd like a community of sensitive, thoughtful humans also taking tiny rebellious steps toward their own truth, join us in The Portal of Permission.
No pressure.
Just an open door.
And a circle of people who understand what it feels like to finally bravely turn toward yourself.
Hope you see you there.
If you loved yourself, how would you start giving yourself permission now?
