I’m pleased to update you that the revisions to the Multi-Jurisdictional Business Form (MJBF) have been completed and the revised MJBF is now under a one-year pilot ending 31 May 2014. Member jurisdictions interested in adopting the revised MJBF for the one-year pilot program may download a copy of the MJBF, as well as the instructional letter with necessary details, via the IAGR Members Portal. Please find both documents in the section MEMBERS: Multi-Jurisdictional Business Form. If you have any questions about accessing the form in the portal, please email Lau Peet Meng, MJBF Sub-Committee Chair, at lau_peet_meng@cra.gov.sg.
Feedback is welcome throughout this one-year pilot trial. The MJBF Sub-Committee will be sharing further details about the MJBF and plans for the form moving forward during the coming IAGR Conference in Oslo.
I’m hopeful that come September, during the IAGR Conference, there will be a good adoption rate for the MJBF, which would pave the way for possible development of MJBF Phase 2.
