Join leading regulatory thinkers in Jamaica this month
Dear colleague,

This month, Jamaica’s Casino Gaming Commission and the Betting, Gaming and Lotteries Commission will have the pleasure of hosting the world’s leading regulatory thinkers at the annual conference of the International Association of Gaming Regulators (IAGR).

On behalf of both host organisations, we would like to offer a special invitation to you, our regulators based in the Caribbean.

IAGR2019 will be held in Montego Bay, Jamaica from 30 September to 3 October at the stunning Half Moon Resort

As online gaming transcends state and national boundaries, and operators have international footprints, connecting with regulators in neighbouring jurisdictions helps maintain awareness of emerging issues, and informs policy thinking and key regulatory decisions moving forward.

IAGR2019 is a great opportunity for you to build relationships within the North American and Caribbean regulatory community, as well as regulators from Europe, Africa and Asia-Pacific.

We have an engaging program of social events planned that will allow you to socialise and network.

Four days of thought-provoking content
This is the first year that IAGR has developed the conference program in consultation with the regulatory community, following a call for speakers.

More than 40 expert speakers and panellists will be participating in 25 keynote sessions, presentations and panel discussions over four days.

The program will explore responsive regulation, crisis management and security, research, the future of gaming and much more.

Check out some of our session teasers below.
A little bit about Jamaica
Jamaica is the third largest island in the Caribbean, and the largest of the English speaking countries in the region.

Since Columbus landed in 1494, millions of visitors to Jamaica have been charmed by all that this Caribbean island offers including its spectacular scenery, delectable cuisine, friendly people and a variety of entertainment. The “land of wood and water” is home to world class athletes (Usain Bolt), music (Bob Marley), Blue Mountain Coffee and Appleton Rum.

In Jamaica there is something for everyone to enjoy. Whether you're a culture seeker, heritage enthusiast, adrenaline junkie, or nature lover there is a unique experience to be found in every corner of the island. In the south east, the capital city Kingston is the centre of business and commerce. Over in the north west, Montego Bay is the main entry for leisure visitors who come to enjoy the sun, sea and sand.
