Greetings Delegates
In just four weeks,
we will gather in Sydney, Australia at the IAGR 2016 Conference for what is shaping up to
be another wonderful event with over 160 attendees already registered. The delegates represent regulators and
industry leaders from approximately 40 gambling jurisdictions.
Please review these important notes as you prepare for the
week's schedule of events.

registrations received through today. Delegates may reference this list to set up meetings in advance or for general networking. Kindly reserve access to this list to
registered IAGR Conference delegates.

meeting times for transportation to and from these activities from the
conference base at the ParkRoyal Darling Harbour Hotel.

On Thursday afternoon, the group will make a brief walk to embark on the harbour cruise vessel which will
be docked at a nearby wharf in Darling Harbour.

Sydney at a glance
- Time Zone: GMT +10:00
- Language: English
- Currency: Australian Dollar (AUD)
- Taxes: 10% Goods & Services Tax (GST)
- Tipping: Tipping is not common in Australia but guests are free to tip if good service is provided.
- Electricity: 240-volt, 50-cycle AC. North American appliances will
need an adaptor and converter. Dual-voltage appliances simply require an
adaptor.
IMPORTANT: Unless you are an Australian or a New Zealand citizen, you will need a visa to enter Australia. New Zealand passport holders may apply for a visa upon arrival in the
country. All other passport holders must apply for a visa before
leaving home. You may be able to apply for certain types of visas
online. If that method is unavailable to you, please discuss this visa
requirement with your travel agent.
