The Casino Gaming Commission in Jamaica is seeking a CEO from a mature gaming jurisdiction well versed in the regulation of casinos.

Job function

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) should be a leader with significant experience in the regulation of the casino gaming industry in a mature gaming jurisdiction.  He/she will be responsible for directing and managing the regulatory activities of the Commission to ensure the casino gaming industry performs in compliance with the provisions of the Casino Gaming Act (2010) as well as industry best practices.  He/she should influence policy decisions impacting the regulation of casino gaming in Jamaica and ensure that plans are implemented in accordance with the vision and mission of the Commission. This position reports to the Board of Commissioners.


Qualifications and Experience Include
  • Masters’ Degree in Business and Management with at least 15 years’  expertise and experience at the Senior Executive Level in a mature casino regulatory environment; OR
  • Bachelor’s degree (BS) or equivalent with twenty to twenty five years expertise and experience at the Senior Executive Level in a mature casino gaming environment industry, or equivalent experience or combination of education and experience. 
  • An energetic, forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image.
