Subject: IAGR December 2013 Newsletter Available

Greetings!

As 2013 draws to a close, IAGR expresses its gratitude to the Membership for another wonderful year in our growth as an Association.

Many accomplishments and milestones were achieved including a significant increase in our Membership, the launch of IAGR's Knowledge Share Groups and a successful annual conference in Oslo, Norway. Comments received over the past few weeks indicate that 90% of the attendees were very satisfied with the event, and 100% would recommend other regulators to join future IAGR conferences. This is a remarkable affirmation of the work of the IAGR, and I look forward to Philadelphia 2014 when we will gather again next year.

We have two informational items to share with you. The December 2013 Newsletter edition is now available HERE . The newsletter highlights IAGR's activities over the past year as well as some new features that you may look forward to in 2014.

In addition, I am happy to present the full report of the 3rd Annual Singapore Symposium on Casino Regulation and Crime HERE (there’s a summary within the newsletter).  This event was jointly held by the Casino Regulatory Authority and the Singapore Police Force with a focus on the increasing attention given to Asia's growing gaming industry. If you’re holding or have held similar events in your jurisdiction, please feel free to share them with me so that I can also help inform our membership of the latest developments around the world.

As part of our efforts to continually improve the organisation, the Board of Trustees will be sending to you early next year a form seeking your feedback on how we can improve IAGR, and also to seek your inputs and ideas for the Philadelphia conference. The Board and I are committed to actively seek your feedback on these matters because this is OUR organisation, and every member has a role to play to make IAGR the leader in gaming regulation. We welcome your feedback as we look to our future in the year ahead.

On behalf of the Board, we would like to wish all our members a Blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year ahead for one and all!
