Dear Hot Metallers,
This is it! 3 days and 3 worship opportunities to think about Emmanuel, God with us! On Sunday, we’ll hear Joseph’s side of the story and ponder what a man thrust into extraordinary circumstances can teach us about love. We’ll light that elusive fourth candle of the wreath and wait just a little longer for God’s promises to take on flesh.
Monday, Christmas Eve EVE at 7pm, we’ll learn about the ABC’s of Christmas. Join us for this interactive and family friendly time of hearing the story and being together as a community of faith.
Tuesday, Christmas Eve at 8pm, come contemplate the light the world with candles and carols and community.
As always, we gather around the table each time to receive the gifts that God gives us this season: grace and truth and love embodied in Jesus Christ. We hope you’ll join us.

| Installation Service // Sunday, January 5 at 4pm
Join Hot Metal and the Pittsburgh Presbytery as we officially install Pastor Erin as the pastor here! This worship service invites lay and clergy from the surrounding area to celebrate with us as an official start to this next chapter. Pastor Erin’s friend and colleague, Pastor Jennifer McCurry of First Lutheran Downtown, will preach. We’ll mark the special day of Epiphany and rejoice in the fact that God is revealed in unexpected places…even in a Lutheran pastor called to a place called Hot Metal. If you are willing to help with this worship and small reception, please let Pastor Erin know!
