This is not a drill.
The Pittsburgh Marathon is this weekend: plan accordingly //  Lots of streets will be closed in the morning so you may need to plan an alternate route and give yourself extra time. Click here for details and maps about getting around town on Sunday.

Sunday Fellowship Meals //
Due to the marathon and the Mothers' Day holiday we will NOT have our regular fellowship meals on May 7 and May 14. But don't worry: lunch will resume on May 21!

The Divine Dance: The Trinity and Your Transformation
// starts WEDs at 7PM // main hall // In a book that draws from scripture, theology, and the deepest insights of mystics, philosophers, and sages throughout history, Richard Rohr (with Mike Morrell) presents a compelling alternative to aloof and fairy-tale versions of God:  One God, belovedly in communion, as All-Vulnerable, All-Embracing, and All-Given to you and me.

What the Health!?? // MAY 15 @ 7PM // main hall // Jesus said to love God with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength. Community Workshop for Education // MON MAY 22 @ 5:30PM // main hall // Do you see brokenness in our current education system and want to see change but feel overwhelmed and don't know where to start? The Center for Public Justice is facilitating a workshop that will provide you with a Christian framework for analyzing education policy, an overview of the roles and responsibilities of federal, state, and local governments in education, and tools you can use to address a policy issue with others. This content will start you on your way to identifying the root of the problem, where you can address it in government and ideas for how to get started using the tools you already have available to you. Dinner and childcare provided. To register for this FREE workshop, complete this form by May 15 and return to charity.haubrich@cpjustice.org.
